All Peoples Church Kids
Welcome to our All Peoples Church Kids Blog! We recognize that this is a challenging and unique time, globally and in our own city. We want to do our best to support you and your kids during this season. We encourage all our families to keep seeking Jesus as a family, and enjoy the precious time you have been given with one another.
This blog is a place where families can come every week for resources, activities, and encouragement. I will be posting weekly in tandem with our online weekend services. Watch our weekly video and have your kids do our weekly activity!
Fun Activities for Kids:
- Kids Facetime Resource (Click Here)
- 1 Peter 5-7 Coloring Page PDF (Click Here)
- Homemade Granola Bars: (can be nut free/gluten free) Have an adult turn the oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8×8 baking pan with cooking spray. Mix a large mixing bowl mix together 2 cups of old-fashioned oats, 1/2 cup of flour (regular, oat, almond, rice, etc.), 1/4 cup of chocolate chips, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of applesauce, 1/4 cup of honey, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Pour the mixture into the baking pan and ask an adult to help you put it in the oven for 25 minutes. Take out of the oven when the edges look lightly browned and let cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!
Extra Parent Resources:
- Anxiety Conversation Guides: Helping a child with anxiety is a challenge. Parents can download these age-appropriate resources to find tips and practical ways to help their children.
I also want to be a resource to all our families. Please reach out to me with any questions, concerns, prayer requests, etc. My email is nbunch@allpeopleschurch.org and am available to talk on the phone throughout the week as well. We, as All Peoples Church Staff, will continue praying for all the families in our church as we navigate the next few weeks.
