What to Expect

Q: Will everyone know what’s going on but me?

A:We’ve done our best to make All Peoples Church as “user-friendly” for people as possible, whatever your background, whether you’re a longtime church attendee or this is your first time.

You will find our gatherings to be structured but also very relaxed. At each gathering, someone from the front will explain what is going to happen next. For example, a normal service looks like this: Someone will give a ‘welcome’ and then we will share announcements. Often a few people will share some ‘good news’ of a way that God helped them that week. This is followed by a time of worship (singing songs to God). We finish our time with a teaching (a practical message from the Bible that we can apply to our lives).

Q: How should I dress?

A: Our services have a casual atmosphere and most people dress informally. Feel free to come as you are!

Q: Will people be nice to me?

A: Yes. We hope you’ll stop by for a visit and, if you do, please come and say ‘hi’ to one of the Pastors. We’d love to meet you. Many people say our church has a warm and welcoming vibe that feels like family. We’d love to get to know you and give you a free gift on Sunday.

Q: Will my kids like it (and be cared for in a safe environment)?

A: We provide Kid’s church for children up 6th grade. It is a safe and fun environment! Visit the ‘ministries’ link above to see our most current news on our children’s ministry.

Q: Is it okay if I don’t believe what everyone else seems to believe?

A: Of course! Here at All Peoples Church, everyone is welcome. We host guests frequently and welcome all peoples regardless of their religious background. There’s a page above that specifies our beliefs. Check it out if you are interested!

If you’d like to learn more about what we’re teaching on Sunday mornings, you can always listen to one of our podcasts online or in iTunes.

Q: Will they ask me for money?

A:  The offering time is for people who call All Peoples Church their church home and want to give towards its work in the community and daily operating costs. There will be a small communication card that you can place in the offering if you’d like us to pray for you.

Our church has an ‘open-book’ policy regarding finances and if you ever have a question about how we make decisions regarding ministries and finances.

Q: Who can I email to get more information about All Peoples Church?

A: You can email us directly by clicking on the ‘Contact’ Page above.

Q: I want to get involved. Who do I talk to and how do I start serving?

A: Jonathan Lair, our Connections Pastor, oversees the volunteer and membership process of our church.  Give him a call at the All Peoples offices at 619.286.3251.
