Testimonies have been pouring in from the many needs being met through our Crazy Christmas Offering! From children at Horace Mann to our International families, our church’s generosity has impacted almost 150 families this year, not including those who will be impacted on the mission field!

We hope you enjoy reading two of the testimonies we have already received from the Crazy Christmas Offering.

With a call to reach the poor through meeting practical and spiritual needs, one testimony has come from members of our International Lifegroup, where most of the attendees are refugees having escaped dangerous and painful situations. Gifted with various practical items, they were overjoyed at also being given gift cards that would allow them to purchase more than just food! When opening their gifts, the International Lifegroup erupted in praise and expressed heartfelt thanks at finally being able to purchase much-needed clothing for their families and essential household goods.

Part of the International Lifegroup’s end-of-year festivities included hosting a Christmas breakfast and giving thanks to Jesus for His goodness in their lives. We have been so blessed by our growing and thriving international community and are excited to see God continuing to move powerfully through them!

We were able to gift around 70 students from Horace Mann Middle School with Walmart gift cards so that their entire household could be blessed this Christmas. Most of the children attending Horace Mann live below the poverty line and we were so grateful that we could assist some of the children and their families with the versatile gift cards.

We are so thankful for a church that is generous with their finances and resources! The money collected from the offering will also: support missions teams, like our growing church in Mexico and those working with Syrian Refugees in Greece; bring aid to 150 families in San Diego; and finally, assist us in owning a full-time church facility! By meeting the practical needs in our communities and giving to those on the mission field, we are able to extend blessing on people and in return, be blessed as a church body as well, which allows us to consistently spread the good news of Jesus.

We are looking forward to a year of increased breakthrough and the mighty love of Jesus meeting people in our church, the San Diego community and the nations of the world!
