VISION:
Facilitating personal freedom in our local church
Part of Jesus’ ministry was to “bind up the brokenhearted” (Isaiah 61). At All Peoples Church, we believe that the power to heal broken hearts is available today, through the Holy Spirit.
The Apostle Paul uses the analogy of a human body to describe the church (1 Corinthians 12). An interesting aspect of our own physical bodies is that they are able to heal themselves through the use of various processes and antibodies. In a similar fashion, we want to have a system in place in our local church body to facilitate the need for healing and personal freedom amongst our community.
In order to fulfill this vision, All Peoples Church offers Christ-Centered counseling to members of our local community.
STRATEGY:
How we facilitate freedom
Rather than just relying on one specific counseling or freedom tool, we understand that personal freedom is a multifaceted and complex issue. As a result, we employ different strategies in order to facilitate breakthrough for those needing transformation. As we pray with you regarding your needs for breakthrough and personal freedom, a variety of outcomes could occur:
- Prayer ministry for spiritual breakthrough
- Counseling sessions
- Referrals to known and trusted professional counseling practices
Issues we address
Our pastoral staff offers prayerful guidance into the following areas:
- Marriage, family, and parenting questions
- Needs for breakthrough from spiritual oppression
- Needs for emotional breakthrough regarding depression, anxiety, and other mental illnesses
- Inner healing from sexual, physical, and other types of abuse
- Unresolved interpersonal conflict
- Financial crises
- Gender identity questions
- Sexual purity and pornography struggles
- Substance abuse
- Self harm
